Labor & Delivery RN Job Details

- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100 - $2250
- EMR Technology: Epic EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state
- At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Post-partum nursing experience required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Labor & Delivery and post-partum units
- Monitor, assess, and support mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, and recovery
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Educate patients and families on post-partum care and newborn health best practices
- Respond rapidly to emergencies and provide high-quality, compassionate clinical support
