- End Date: February 9, 2026
- Contract Duration: 12 weeks
- Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1700 - $1820
- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Charting System: Cerner EMR (Cerner experience preferred)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room Registered Nurse experience in a similar-sized hospital
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state (pending license accepted with submission; must be active before start)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if not already held)
- NIHSS and NRP certifications preferred
- Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed)
- Must pass on-site drug screening
ER Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
- Perform triage, assessment, and rapid intervention for trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and behavioral emergencies
- Administer emergency medications and treatments, including blood products, IV vasopressors, and procedural sedation
- Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, ventilated patients, and those requiring advanced airway management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including respiratory therapy, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain nursing competencies
- Work some holidays during the travel nursing assignment
