Travel RN Job Details
- Location: Cleveland, OH 44111 (Ohio nursing jobs)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 14, 2025
- End Date: February 13, 2026
- Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7:00pm – 7:30am)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780 - $1910
- Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel RN)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required
- Active Ohio RN license or Compact State Registered Nurse license at time of application
- Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
- Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
- One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in Med/Surg Telemetry (charge RN references accepted)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Background check and onsite fingerprinting required prior to start
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding promptly to patient condition changes
- Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and document nursing care accurately
- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
