Travel Nursing Job Details

- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 - 07:30), 3 shifts per week

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1780 - $1910
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience required for travel nursing positions
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State RN license (required at submission)
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
- Recent experience (within 6 months) with Epic EMR charting system
- Two recent supervisory references in Med/Surg Telemetry (from manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months)
- Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (2 attempts maximum)
- Ability to complete BCI/FBI background checks and onsite fingerprinting prior to start date
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit, specializing in orthopedic and surgical cases
- Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry data and patient condition changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
- Accurately document patient care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient care coordination and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and clinical staff
