Number of Beds – 8 Labor, 14 Postpartum, 3 EDOB and 2 OR
Number of Staff – Labor Core Staffing 4, Postpartum Core Staffing 1 (varies with census)
Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 CNC, 1 Triage, 2 RN, 1-2 OB Scrub Tech
- Night Shift - 1 CNC, 1 Triage, 2 RN, 1 OB Scrub Tech
Patient Ratios – Labor: 1-2:1, Postpartum: 3-4 couplets:1 RN
Type of equipment – EFM, FSE, IUPC, SCDs, IV pumps, Medication scanning, Supply scanning
EMR – CPN and Meditech

Required:

2 years experience
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring/C-EFM (for Labor and Delivery)
Competence in cervical exams

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

Previous Labor and Delivery Experience
Magnesium Therapy Experience (Postpartum)

Cervical Exams
FSE/IUPC placement
Cesarean Sections (scheduled and emergent)
Vaginal Deliveries
Vacuum assisted deliveries
