Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license, BSN, and strong Cath Lab procedural skills.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab
- Day shift schedule: 10-hour shifts from 7:00am to 5:30pm
- Weekend rotation and on-call during both weekdays and weekends are required
- Care for cardiac patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Clinical duties may include working with Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, hemodynamics, IABP, and Impella equipment
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR is required
- Will work across all functional roles within the Cath Lab as needed, including sedation, monitoring, circulation, and scrubbing
- Required to pass Tele/ECG and medication tests, where applicable
- COVID vaccine and booster as well as flu vaccine are required; medical exemptions are accepted
- Scrub attire is required for this role
- Holiday coverage may be expected during assignment

Requirements
- Active MA RN license in hand is required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from AHA required
- Recent cardiac cath lab experience required, with 3-5 years preferred
- Must be proficient in diagnostic caths and interventions
- Experience with Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, hemodynamics, IABP, and Impella required
- EP Lab experience preferred but not required
- ECMO and RCIS certification preferred
- Experience in sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles in Cath/EP labs highly preferred
- Foundational ICU or ED experience is preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR is required
- Applicants must live more than 50 miles from the facility; no locals allowed
- A minimum 6-month separation is required for previous employees (travel, perm, per diem)
