Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN with a current CA RN license and recent Labor & Delivery experience for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
Provide care for laboring and postpartum mothers, including high-risk OB patients
Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts
13-week contract assignment
Uses Epic EMR system
Perform all aspects of Labor & Delivery nursing care including care of high-risk OB patients as needed
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team focused on patient safety and positive outcomes
Assignment requires compliance with hospital vaccination policies, including COVID and flu
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers

Requirements

Active CA RN license required at time of consideration
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery RN experience
Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
High-risk Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Five or more years of recent Labor & Delivery experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred
Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for verification
