TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
Discipline: RN
Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, days
Employment Type: Travel

UNIT: 2NW CVPCU

Minimum Experience: 1 year of cardiac experience - 2 plus years MS, Experience must be short term acute care hospital experience.

WI or Compact RN, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS

At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.

Charting Experience: Epic within 12 months

Required Skillset: must be comfortable with rhythm interpretation and be familiar with routine cardiac care for patient populations such as open heart surgical, arrhythmia, chest pain, cardiac procedural patients, heart failure, acute MI’s, etc.- WILL TAKE AN ICU RN IF COMFORTABLE WITH PATIENT RATIOS Nurses on the night shift typically have 4-5 patients
Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio):

HCU is considered an intermediate care unit and sees a variety of patients other than cardiac such as sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, etc.

Must be able to float as needed
