Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Texas requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least two years of L&D experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Altera EMR experience preferred but not required
Must be available to complete necessary lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
Modules to be completed during orientation (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)
Travel experience preferred but not required
Two supervisory references from within the last three years of employment required

Requirements

Active TX or compact RN license in hand required for consideration
Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required
Basic Life Support (BLS) and any relevant certifications required
Resume and license verification required
Not accepting local candidates within 150 miles
Return travelers must have at least 1 year since last employment as permanent staff at the facility
