Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Texas requiring a current TX or compact RN license and at least two years of L&D experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract assignment
- Altera EMR experience preferred but not required
- Must be available to complete necessary lab requirements within 72 hours of offer acceptance or have a plan in place
- Modules to be completed during orientation (average 6-8 hours, non-billable)
- Travel experience preferred but not required
- Two supervisory references from within the last three years of employment required
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license in hand required for consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and any relevant certifications required
- Resume and license verification required
- Not accepting local candidates within 150 miles
- Return travelers must have at least 1 year since last employment as permanent staff at the facility
