Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Bismarck, North Dakota (58501) – North Dakota nursing jobs
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nurse contract
- Start Date: October 20, 2025
- End Date: January 19, 2026
- Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – 5B Med Specialty Behavioral Unit (Medical Surgical & Behavioral Health)
- Shifts: 12-hour rotating day/night shifts (includes every other weekend and holiday)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Charting System: EPIC
- Trauma Level: Level 2
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license (Registered Nurse) – open to out-of-state candidates willing to obtain North Dakota licensure
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in both Med/Surg and Behavioral Health (psychiatric nursing)
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care on a Medical Surgical and Behavioral Health specialty unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Deliver compassionate support to patients with both medical and psychiatric needs
- Accurately document patient information using the EPIC electronic health record system
- Participate in patient rounds, care planning, and unit activities
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Comply with all facility policies and procedures
