Job Title: Care Manager / Deputy Registered Manager
Salary: £32,000 – £34,000 per year + mileage reimbursement (30p/mile)
Location: Burton upon Trent & Derby (within 10-mile radius preferred)
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays
Additional Benefits: MOT fee covered, £75 annual contribution towards car servicing, regular social events

About the RoleWe are looking for a Deputy Registered Manager / Care Manager to support the Registered Manager and play a key role in the continued growth of our domiciliary care service. The role sits between the Registered Manager and the care team, providing day-to-day leadership, ensuring compliance, and helping to deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with supervisory experience in domiciliary care who is looking to step up and potentially progress into a future Registered Manager role.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the service.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop care team leaders and caregivers.
- Ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care is consistently delivered.
- Act as a main point of contact for clients and families, building strong relationships.
- Support with compliance, audits, and quality assurance in line with CQC standards.
- Participate in the on-call rota and provide hands-on support when needed.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and retention initiatives to support service growth.
About You- Domiciliary care experience (essential).
- Supervisory experience within a care setting.
- Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (Level 4/5 desirable, or willingness to complete).
- Strong leadership skills with a values-driven, hands-on approach.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential).
- Willingness to be flexible and support on-call requirements.
