About the job Associate DVM
We are seeking a full-time Associate DVM to join our team at MBC Talent Connections. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and make a meaningful impact on the lives of animals and their owners. As an Associate DVM, you will provide high-quality medical care to our clients' furry companions, while also building strong relationships with our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and develop appropriate treatment plans for patients
- Perform routine and emergency surgeries, including spays, neuters, and dental procedures
- Administer vaccinations, medications, and other medical treatments as needed
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education and guidance on pet health and wellness
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Collaborate with other veterinarians and support staff to provide exceptional care for patients
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in veterinary medicine
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on practice policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary practice preferred
- Strong surgical skills and experience with routine and emergency procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Passion for providing exceptional care to animals and their owners
