Description - BH Unit: 18-bed Adult only inpatient Behavioral Health Unit

Patient Ratio Experience : 8

Ratio: 1:9 on nights, 1:6 on Days

Certs: BLS

Shift - Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Weekends: Every Other

Flu Vaccine: Required - No Exemptions

Antianxiety, Antidepressants, Antipsychotic, Anxiety disorders, Assault/violence*, Behavior management techniques, Bipolar Disorder, Blood glucose monitoring, Cardiac Arrest/CPR, Congenital/Developmental Disorders*, Crisis Intervention, De-escalation techniques, Degenerative disorders (Alzheimer s, ALS, Parkinson s)*, Depressive disorders, Eating Disorders*, Eating Disorders*, Emergent chemical restraints, Foley catheter insertion/management*, Geriatric*, Inpatient, Interpretation and communication of lab values, Locked Unit, Managing Assaultive Behavior, Medical/Psych*, Medication Administration, Mood stabilizer, NG tube insertion/ management*, Oral /Nasotracheal suctioning*, Personality disorders, Physical Hold Protocols, Post-traumatic stress disorder, Profound impulse control issues, Psychoeducation, Psychotic Disorders, Residential/Group Home*, Schizophrenia-spectrum disorders, Seclusion protocols/procedures, Sedatives/Analgesics, Self-injurious behavior, Severe intellectual disabilities*, Starting and maintaining IVs*, Substance use*, Substance use/Chemical Dependency*, Suicidal behavior, Trauma-and Stressor-Related Disorders, Use of seclusion, Voluntary /involuntary commitment
