Patent Attorney/Agent - Chemical

Seeking a full-time Patent Attorney or Agent with a background in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering. This position involves all aspects of patent preparation and prosecution, with opportunities for increasing levels of responsibility.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare patent applications.
Analyze Office Actions and prepare strategies for response.
Ensure accurate billing, file maintenance, and docket management.
Work closely with other attorneys and technical staff on a variety of matters in chemical fields.

Requirements :

Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering (or closely related discipline with knowledge of organic chemistry).
1-3 years of experience that includes drafting applications.

Desired Qualities :

Strong attention to detail.
Technically proficient with the ability to learn quickly.
Motivated, professional, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
