**Job Title: Night Shift RN - Cardiac Med/Tele Unit**
**Location:** (Location Details)
**Shift:** Nights - 12HR: 7 PM - 7 AM
**Contract Duration:** 13 Weeks
**Weekly Hours:** 36 and 48 hours available
**Weekend Requirements:** 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.
**Unit Overview:**
Join our dynamic team in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit featuring 37 patient beds. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you can make a difference in the lives of patients with cardiac conditions.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Med/Tele unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Participate in training and educational opportunities to enhance professional development.
**Requirements:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing; 2 years of experience preferred.
- **Licensure:** Active RN license in New York.
- **Certifications:** NIH Stroke Scale certification, AHA BLS certification required.
- **Additional:** Must be flexible according to the facility's scheduling needs and willing to float to other units as necessary.
**Miscellaneous:**
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Willingness to work charge and receive training is mandatory.
- Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed.
