Description The Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS) area of the Human Services and Public Health department is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant to support efforts to increase competitive, integrated employment for people with disabilities in Hennepin County through a Lead Agency Capacity Building Grant (LACBG) funded by the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services - Disability Services division. The position will be involved in coordinating for the implementation of the strategies and actions outlined in the approved action plan. This will include training development, supporting the team in facilitation of the action plan, budget planning and forecasting, researching best practices and laws, and data collection, evaluation, and analysis of grant requirements and goals. This position involves collaboration with the Employment First leadership team in LTSS, external partners, and Department of Human Services (DHS).

Location and hours: This position is hybrid and will be performed both on-site at various locations throughout Hennepin County and surrounding metro area, and remote as job duties require. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. While this position is designated as hybrid, based on current requirements hires must reside in or relocate to Minnesota or Wisconsin. New Employee Orientation (NEO) for all new benefit-earning employees is in-person in downtown Minneapolis. Details about NEO will be provided upon hire.

In this position, you will: - Coordinate strategies and actions established in the LACBG action plan, including budget evaluation and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the Employment First Leadership team and other administrative and planning personnel involved in the project.
- Develop and implement actions related to staffing training and development.
- Research and evaluate best practices of other states, statutes, and laws for competitive, integrated employment for people with disabilities.
- Represent LTSS with community partners in stakeholder engagement.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain relationships and community engagement with service areas, waiver service providers, the state of Minnesota, counties, and other community stakeholders.
- Evaluate data and conduct data analysis of progress towards LACBG requirements and goals.
- Plan, implement, and complete projects assigned by supervisor/administration.
Need to have: - One of the following:
- Eight or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in public administration, business administration, or other field appropriate to the position and four or more years of experience in general administrative work relating to the management of departmental/organizational operations or in a specialty area appropriate to the position.
- Access to reliable transportation.
