RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Tele Neuro

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed Neurosciences unit (6 West Neurosciences) on the 6th floor of A Tower
• Patient ratios: 5:1 or 6:1 stretch on day shift, 7:1 stretch on night shift
• Day shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 3 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Night shift staffing includes 1 Charge RN, 6 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1 HUC
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• Preferred experience: Neuroscience nursing background
• Float to other medical-surgical floors as needed
• Work with standard medical-surgical equipment and Cerner EMR system
• Perform typical procedures including Foley catheter insertion and IV starts
• Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
• Must demonstrate outgoing and self-motivated personality traits
• New staff reference book provided at contract start
