Direct Hire Respiratory Therapist Role in Norristown, Pennsylvania

Clinical Magnet, a division of Icon Medical Network, is looking for a Respiratory Therapist to join our partner's full-time team in Montgomery County, PA. This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY.

Key Responsibilities for the Respiratory Therapist:
· Administer therapeutic respiratory care procedures according to hospital and department policies.
· Complete documentation that is required to measure, monitor, and ensure department effectiveness
· Perform diagnostic respiratory procedures according to hospital and department policies.
· Provides instruction to patients and other members of the healthcare team as needed.

Key Requirements for the Respiratory Therapist:
· Associates/ 2 year degree
· Professional competency in the science of Respiratory Care commensurate with the NBRC credential
· Graduate of an AMA approved school of respiratory care
· Registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care
· Licensed by the State Board of Medicine OR State Board of Osteopathic Medicine
· Must have BCLS/ BLS certification
· ACLS and/or NALS preferred
· Prior experience preferred

Compensation and Schedule for the Respiratory Therapist:
· Hourly rates dependent on certification (CRT or RRT) as well as years of experience
· Comprehensive benefits plan
· Full time
· Night shift (3, 12 hour shifts, with rotating weekends)
