A Snapshot of Your Day
As a
Master Planner/ Head PP CB, your day begins with a review of production orders,
capacity planning and new customers orders. You will work closely with the offers,
sales, engineering, production planning, production, purchasing, order
execution and logistics teams to ensure that all resources are aligned with
production needs. You will lead the Production Planning Circuit Breakers Team. Participate
actively in new products introduction. Throughout the day, you will adjust
plans as necessary to respond to changes in demand and resolve any issues that
may arise to ensure smooth and efficient production. Additionally, you will
participate in daily meetings to discuss progress and challenges, and work on
continuous improvement of planning processes. Participated and in the future be
responsible for S&OP.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain mid- and long-term production
schedules that optimize resource utilization, minimize costs, and align with
organizational goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such
as procurement, operations, and logistics to ensure the availability of
materials and resources necessary for efficient production.
- Identify and resolve planning-related issues that
could impact production timelines or on-time delivery, ensuring operational
continuity.
- Analyze production and demand data to adjust plans
proactively, ensuring production targets are met and aligned with market needs.
- Lead the Sales and Operations Planning process with a
long-term vision of up to five years, integrating demand forecasting, capacity
planning, and strategic objectives.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in
planning processes and generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports to monitor
performance, drive efficiency, and support decision-making.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in production planning or a similar
role, preferably in an Engineering-to-Order environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the
ability to interpret and analyze production and demand data to support
decision-making.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities,
with a collaborative mindset and the capacity to work effectively across
multiple departments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and production planning
tools, particularly SAP, as well as other relevant IT tools such as Alteryx,
Tableau, Mendix, and Power BI.
- Technical skills in production planning and inventory
management software, with a solid understanding of related processes and data
flows.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic,
cross-functional team environment, maintaining focus on efficiency and
continuous improvement.
