MRI Technologist
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with GE equipment and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI scans and imaging procedures as per physician's orders.
- Ensure efficient and high-quality patient care during all imaging processes.
- Maintain and operate GE MRI equipment ensuring its proper functionality.
- Adhere to safety protocols and the highest standards of patient care.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal service.
Schedule
This position requires availability for:
- 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
- 2 additional 8-hour shifts during the week.
- Expected to work weekends (Thu-Sun or Fri-Mon).
Qualifications
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent and Graduate of an approved two-year Radiology training Program.
- Certifications: Registered with the ARRT.
- Must meet the American Heart Association's standards for Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and maintain BLS certification every two years.
Position Urgency
This position is categorized as normal urgency and guarantees 36 hours per week for a duration of 91 contract weeks.
