Position: Store Associate

Location: Raleigh, NC

Pay: $17/hour

Experience: Previous retail or customer service experience.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time or Part-time; Contract

Schedule:

Part-time: Wednesday - Friday, 9:30am to 4:00pm
Full-time: Monday - Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Greene Resources is seeking a Store Associate to join a growing and dynamic team! Our client is a fast-growing, stylish needlepoint storefront and e-commerce business looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and upbeat team member to support both our front-of-house shop and back-of-house fulfillment. This role involves maintaining inventory, pulling and packing online orders, assisting customers in-store, and completing sales transactions through Shopify.

Job Description:

Greet and assist walk-in customers with warmth and professionalism.
Use Shopify to complete in-store sales and check inventory.
Restock and merchandise threads, canvases, and accessories.
Tape canvases and prepare items for display or sale.
Pull products listed on printed invoices accurately and efficiently.
Support product staging for in-store and online visuals.
Package and ship orders daily.
Manage and organize back stock of threads, canvases, and accessories.
Assist with ongoing restocking and product receiving, and communicate low inventory levels for reorder.
Use spreadsheets and inventory tools to keep stock levels updated.
Keep the fulfillment area clean, tidy, and organized.
Assist with miscellaneous shop and office duties as needed.

Position Requirements:

Shopify experience is a plus (training provided if needed).
Willingness to learn and adapt—no stitching experience required, just curiosity!
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfort working with spreadsheets and inventory systems.
Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
Friendly, customer-first attitude, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Creative mindset and interest in crafting or needlepoint are a bonus
Must be able to occasionally lift packages under 25 lbs.
