Surgical Technologist, Sign On Bonus Eligible

Lowell General Hospital, part of Tufts Medicine, is seeking experienced Surgical Technologists to join our team. Apply to learn about our newly increased pay rates and lucrative SIGN ON BONUSES!

This is a great opportunity to work close to home and avoid commuting traffic at a Magnet designated, community hospital with a great culture!

Work the hours you desire: 32, 36 or 40 hours available on day/evening shifts.

Responsibilities:

Works in a professional manner on a wide variety of surgical procedures
Selects and prepares the appropriate supplies and equipment for the surgical cases
Participates in surgery by organizing the instrumentation to the surgeon, participating in surgical counts, and performs related activities under the directions of the surgeon
Assist the circulator, with positioning obtaining needed items during surgery, and assisting in room turnover activities
Operates surgical equipment as needed
Participate in operating room activities related to quality improvement, continuing education, orientation of new personnel and emergency preparedness

Qualifications:

Certified Surgical Technologist
Associates degree or Completion of Surgical Technician Certification Coursework required
1-2 years’ experience working as a Surgical Technician (preferred)
LPN with Surgical Technician Certification/Experience
