Physician Assistant Hospitalist for Danbury Hospital in Danbury, CT for variable night shifts, 8 PM – 8 AM. Work in a collegial work environment with experienced physicians and physician assistants in a community hospital in a family friendly location about 80 miles from NYC. You will have the opportunity to work independently but alongside the Physicians in Hospitalist Medicine. Job Summary:Under the supervision of a physician, provides primary medical care to patients to assist in their recovery from acute illnesses and minimize the effects of chronic illnesses.
Job Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) school.
- CT State PA license, DEA/State of CT controlled substance.
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- ACLS & BLS certification.
- Must maintain 50 CME's over two years.
- Strong Interpersonal and communication skills.
- Preferred: prior PA Hospitalist experience but new grads with inpatient Internal Medicine experience are encouraged to apply
- Able to work variable block night schedule, 8 PM – 8 AM (12-hour shifts) about 14 shifts per month (including 2 weekends/mo.).

Salary Range: $115 - $140k annually commensurate or relative to experience.
