Travel Nurse RN - Dialysis - $1,998 per week

HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Dialysis for a travel nursing job in Burlington, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse – Dialysis

Experience Required:

2+ years Dialysis RN experience
Experience with Tablo Dialysis machines required

Certifications:

BLS (required)
ACLS (preferred)
Must pass mandatory EKG exam

Patient Ratio:

1:2 to 1:3

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

Initiate/set up dialysis treatments
Cannulate AV fistula/graft
Manage tunneled/non-tunneled catheters
Monitor blood flow and dialysate flow rates
Respond to machine alarms (conductivity, pressure, leaks)
Symptom management: hypotension, hyperkalemia, chest pain, etc.
Administer blood products and critical medications during treatment
Handle post-treatment access care
Exposure to hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and apheresis
Use of Spectra Optia, Tablo, Baxter Amia devices

Patient Population:

ESRD, AKI, metabolic imbalance, overdose
Acutely ill medical-surgical and critical care patients
Apheresis patients with neurologic, renal, or hematologic conditions

Additional Info:

Float required across 3 Cone Health campuses
Every other weekend required
Call required (Sunday nights only)
Charting: Epic
Orientation: 40 hours
COVID and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Must be flexible with scheduling and have no barriers to compliance
