Citibank, N.A. seeks a Model/Analysis/Validation Officer for its Irving, TX location.
Duties: Work with the Natural Language Processing (NLP) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI ML) models validated for Internal Audit (IA), Human Resource (HR), and Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM) business groups. Coordinate end-to-end validation activities for these areas to ensure all requirements are fulfilled as per Model Risk Management (MRM) guidelines and requirements and ensure all critical aspects of the models are assessed and appropriate limitations are raised wherever necessary to avoid any risk arising for the models. Support area lead review for Operations and Technology (O&T) models. Validate workflows from Citi Retail Services and Retail Bank analytics. Work on the end-to-end validation process of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning models and ensure the timely completion of validation reports including initial validation, ongoing monitoring, annual model review, model change, and limitations. Prepare responses to questions related to the internal audit and other regulatory exams. Perform validation review completion on Citi's iMRMS system. Work with sponsors on potential model determinations across the various business areas and geographies to support model risk management's semi-annual and regular model attestation process. Research and develop new validation techniques to enhance the MRM frameworks. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or in a related quantitative occupation, creating validation reports. Five (5) years of experience must include: Validating the statistical, artificial intelligence, and machine learning (supervised and unsupervised) models from various business areas; Assessing models by performing statistical, data, and quantitative analysis for model development using business tools including advance excel, VBA codes, SAS, and Python and ensuring the appropriate remediation actions are in place and monitored for the underlying models; Monitoring the models and identifying appropriate root cause and remediation action plans for performance breaches; Coordinating end to end model validation activities and providing support to develop model performance tracking framework, model evaluations, or strategic assignments; and Coordinating the completion of assigned tasks and projects related to the model life cycle, planning strategic, and cross-functional initiatives. 40 hrs./wk.
