Medical Devices Position Summary We are seeking a Strategic Executive Assistant to serve as a critical thought partner and operational leader to assist C-suite leaders. This role combines high-level administrative support with proactive business strategy execution, similar to the role of a senior aide in government. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and tactical-equally comfortable managing calendars and meetings as they are synthesizing information, streamlining operations, and driving key initiatives forward.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Executive Support & Administration
- Manage the C-Suite schedule, prioritize meetings, and ensure effective time management.
- Coordinate executive communications, including internal and external correspondence.
- Prepare briefing materials, meeting agendas, and follow-ups.
- Serve as a liaison between the C-suite leaders and internal teams, clients, and external partners.
Strategic Operations
- Partner with C-suite leaders to develop, track, and execute business strategies and key initiatives.
- Identify organizational bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Lead or support cross-functional projects with clear timelines and deliverables.
- Synthesize data and insights to assist in executive decision-making.
Business Proactivity & Operational Insight
- Act as a trusted advisor and confidant, providing honest counsel and perspective.
- Promote alignment between departments and ensure the leadership team is coordinated on priorities.
- Support board meeting preparation and investor communications as needed.
Education Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in executive support, operations, or strategic roles-experience in healthcare or medical device industry is a strong plus.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive-anticipates needs before they arise.
- Strong interpersonal skills and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Exceptional skills in Excel, Outlook calendar, and Power Point
- Collaborative approach with other functional leaders and EAs
Physical & Mental Requirements Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer (up to 8 hours per day).
- Ability to occasionally lift office supplies and equipment, up to 15 pounds.
- Occasional travel for team events, training, or company meetings.
