JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force, and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.
JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES Join the Mission Operations Schedulers team at JT4, where you will collaborate with a diverse group of JT4 employees, Government Civilians, and Active-Duty Air Force service members. Your role will be pivotal in coordinating and scheduling various operations, including flights, simulations, and ground events. This position requires meticulous planning and coordination to ensure crew availability, training compliance, and asset readiness amidst ongoing maintenance and unforeseen challenges.
Key Responsibilities: - Operational Scheduling: Efficiently schedule aircraft, airspace, radio frequencies, mission control rooms, simulators, labs, and other assets for the Test Pilot School, balancing high demand and limited availability.
- Flight Currency Management: Monitor and maintain flight currencies for pilots, ensuring they meet training and flight hour requirements to remain operational.
- Safety Compliance: Track crew rest and other safety requirements, assigning personnel to missions in compliance with safety standards.
- Dynamic Adjustments: Adapt schedules promptly in response to changes in crew availability or maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

RANGE POSITION DESCRIPTION The incumbent of this position will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling various operations, including flights, simulations, and ground events, for the Test Pilot School. This role involves working closely with JT4 employees, Government Civilians, and Active Duty Air Force Officers to ensure crew availability, training compliance, and asset readiness. The incumbent must possess strong organizational skills, adaptability, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to manage complex schedules and respond swiftly to changes. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure compliance with safety requirements and make dynamic adjustments to schedules as needed.
REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL, AND WORK EXPERIENCE The incumbent must have obtained training from a military school or equivalent on-the-job training specific to functions of the work unit. Possess nine years of experience in the local work unit operations and a minimum of 13 years of experience in air operations, airspace management, or associated activities. This position requires working knowledge of overall mission, priority assignments, scheduling procedures, and requirements of range users. The incumbent must have detailed knowledge of range capabilities and limiting factors, operational security constraints, mandatory safety parameters, and support system capability.
In addition, a Mission Operations Scheduler IV must also possess the following qualifications:
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, be experienced in the use of computer terminals, and proficient in the use of word processing and integrated software applications
- Must be able to work duty days in excess of eight hours, shift work, overnight stays, and weekend work to meet required schedule demands. The incumbent must possess a valid, state issued driver's license. Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
SALARY The expected salary range for this position is $94,203 to $116,000 annually.

WORKING CONDITIONS Work is primarily sedentary in an office and operations center environment; however, some walking, stooping, bending, climbing stairs, stretching, and lifting up to 40 pounds may be required. The incumbent must have good visual acuity and the ability to discern all colors of the spectrum.
