Travel Certified Surgical First Assistant (SA/RNFA)
Location:CJW Johnston-Willis Hospital, Richmond, VA
Shift:7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Unit:Operating Room – 16 ORs
Join a high-volume OR team supporting a wide range of surgical specialties including robotics, ortho, neuro, urology, plastics, and general surgery.
Key Requirements:
- Must have:
- Surgical Assisting degree from an accredited program
- Virginia Surgical Assistant License(or proof of application)
- BLS certification
- 2+ years hospital OR experience
- Robotic and orthopedic experience
- Preferred:
- RNFA with First Assist training and RN license
- Neurosurgery experience
Details:
- 1:1 staffing with RN, SA, and surgical tech per OR
- EMR: Meditech
- Call rotation: ~2 shifts/week (includes nights/weekends)
- Scrub color: Navy (provided)
