LHH is recruiting a legal word processor for a downtown law firm. This person will support the firm attorneys by assisting with word processing, including transcription, document red-lining, revisions, finalizing drafts and e-filing. In addition, this person may assist with a variety of administrative tasks including time entry, data entry, spreadsheet projects, etc. This position also fills in daily for the receptionist's breaks and good phone etiquette is a must.
Qualifications:
Proficient in law firm technology: including all Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word and Excel), Adobe Acrobat or similar.
Must have experience with digital transcription.
Knowledge of case management and billing software is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
