Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Medical Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00, every other weekend Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: NC or compact license Certifications: Basic Life Support Must-Have: - Cerner experience - IV competency Job Description: - Orientation is bi-weekly. - Work in a 32-bed Emergency Department, a 29-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit, and a 15-bed surgical suite and imaging unit. - Be part of a team that includes Brain, Cancer, Heart, Lung, Orthopedics, General & Vascular Surgery, Surgical Weight Loss, Women's Health, and a Level 3 NICU. - Float to surgical, neuro, and intermediate units as needed, handling medical-surgical level patients. - Provide care for common diagnoses including COPD exacerbation, GI bleed, diabetic complications, wound care, pancreatitis, sickle cell crisis, end-of-life care/hospice, falls, weakness, sepsis, and infection. - Utilize equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, SCD...
