Mechanic will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of the Fleet road equipment including tractor, trailer, thermo-king, converter dolly and maintenance vehicles. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal trucking regulations. Mechanics will also be responsible for the documentation, completion, and to keep current the maintenance logs for all repairs and parts used daily. We have an immediate position open for a  Diesel Mechanic to work on our fleet of garbage trucks at our Seguin , Texas location. This position is heavy in preventative maintenance, electrical, and hydraulics along with engine diagnosis and minor engine repair. We have an excellent management team. We offer stability and consistent overtime along with opportunity for advancement. Monday-Friday, night shift typically from 2:30pm-2am with some weekends. 10-12 hour shifts and occasional Saturdays for extra OT. We offer top hourly wage and because of all the OT our mechanics make great money plus we offer family benefits, 401k, and vacation. Maintenance Mechanic (1st Shift) Shift: Day Shift; Monday Friday (7AM - 5PM). This role may require overtime as needed. Pay: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. The company also provides a comprehensive benefits package as well as other company sponsored benefits.
