W2 job to a staffing company--initial term is 4 months with chance to extend Top skills: - Financial Analysis - Budget Forecasting - SAP Schedule: Fully onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Contractor to support the Finance Manager during a Leave of Absence (LOA). The contractor will be responsible for managing key financial tasks, including Retail OpEx reporting, budget requests, system approvals, invoice validation, and expense forecasting. This role requires a strong understanding of financial operations, analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities 1. Retail OpEx Reporting and Analysis: o Prepare and analyze Retail OpEx reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial policies. o Monitor and track OpEx expenses, identifying trends and potential cost-saving opportunities. 2. Budget Requests and System Approvals: o Assist in preparing and submitting budget requests for Retail OpEx. o Ensure timely and accurate submission of system approval requests. 3. Invoice Validation and Approval: o Validate and approve invoices to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. o Resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation for all transactions. 4. OpEx Expense Forecasting and Validation: o Develop and maintain OpEx expense forecasts to support financial planning. o Validate expense data to ensure accuracy and alignment with budgetary goals. 5. General Financial Support: o Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial reporting, budgeting, or expense management. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and trends. • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP, Excel). • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in Retail OpEx reporting or similar financial roles. • Knowledge of company-specific financial systems and processes. • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders. Working Conditions • Full-time, 4-month contract role. • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week as required by the company. • Flexible working hours to accommodate business needs.
