Your Responsibilities on the Team Lead quarterly forecast package preparation and cross collaborate with multiple departments within the organization. · Assist in the development of annual business plan, monthly, and quarterly forecasts. Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses to compare actuals, forecasts, and business plan for departmental reviews. Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports that integrate Lennar Mortgage performance with builder activity, such as sales, closings, and buyer financing trends. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to loan origination and profitability. Utilize BI tools such as Power BI to create and maintain financial dashboards and reports. Report on competitor earnings and market share reports to identify market trends and opportunities. Partner with HR and Operations to analyze and perform capacity modeling of Lennar Mortgage’s operations platform. Collaborate with IT resources to establish and maintain analytical datasets. Crosstrain for other positions within the organization as needed. Serve as a key participant in the corporate and branch budget process. Contribute to the development of processes and procedures. Develop ad-hoc analytics to help the business better understand KPIs and make strategic operational decisions. Creation of manuals and end user documentation, including visual inserts. Your Toolbox Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or 3-5 years of equivalent experience in accounting/finance. Experience in financial/management reporting, spreadsheet/ financial modeling and account reconciliation and analysis. Proficiency in PC applications: Excel (advanced formulas and VBA programming preferred), Adobe Acrobat, Word and PowerPoint. Experience and efficiency in Hyperion EPM, JD Edwards and Power BI. Must be a detail-oriented problem solver Regular interaction with production personnel, management from various departments, and senior leadership. Must demonstrate initiative and have the ability to multi-task and achieve objectives with minimal supervision. Possess a positive and professional attitude and represent the company in a positive manner. Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing. Must work well with others as a team member. Ability to accept constructive criticism and implement improvements. Ability to negotiate/influence the cooperative efforts of others. Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements: This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the FP& A Analyst to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
