**Exciting Opportunity for Critical Care RNs!**
**Job Description:**
- Join a dedicated team in a dynamic Critical Care environment!
- Work with cutting-edge technologies and high-acuity patients.
- Take part in the recovery process for post cardio-thoracic surgery patients fresh out of the operating room.
- Gain experience with advanced cardiac devices such as IMPELLA, Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, TABLO XT/CRRT.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver exceptional nursing care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and educate patients, families, and caregivers.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply!
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only).
- RN License in the state of TX or compact required.
**Position Requirements:**
- Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire.
- Participate in a preceptorship program with a trained staff member.
- Complete annual competency verification requirements.
**Work Schedule:**
- Day Shift: 7AM - 7PM
- Work Type: Full Time
