**Join Our Exceptional NICU Team as a Registered Nurse!**
**Job Description:**
- Are you a passionate NICU nurse ready to make a difference?
- Experience a robust support system while caring for the tiniest patients in a Level III NICU.
**Key Details:**
- **Position:** NICU Registered Nurse
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- At least 1 year in a NICU specialty
- Candidates with Level 4 NICU experience are encouraged to apply
- **Shift:**
- Night shifts — 3x12-hour (18:00 - 06:30)
- Weekend coverage required (every other weekend, may exceed to meet unit needs)
- **Patient Ratios:**
- 1:2-3 ratios based on acuity
**Essential Skills and Certifications:**
- Required Certifications:
- BLS
- NRP (Advanced preferred, but willing to obtain pre-start)
- Preferred Skills:
- IV therapy and management
- Administration of blood & blood products
- Central and arterial line management
- UAC, UVC care
- Knowledge of neonatal medications and emergency medications
- APGAR scoring and patient/family teaching
**Work Environment:**
- Level III NICU handling a diverse range of conditions including:
- Prematurity, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS), and Jaundice
- Daily census of 190 births per month with a capacity of 14 beds
- Interdisciplinary support available from various specialties
**Additional Information:**
- Charting System: Epic
- No on-call required
- Orientation: 36 hours upon onboarding
- Float between like units is not required
