**Exciting Opportunity for Travel ER Registered Nurse (RN)**
- Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a Travel ER RN!
- **Start Date:** ASAP
- **Duration:** 13 weeks
- **Shift:** Mids, 1pm - 1am (floating required)
**What We Need:**
- **Experience:** 2+ years in Emergency Nursing
- **Certifications:**
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS
- TNCC
- ENPC
- NRP (preferred)
**Essential Details:**
- **Fingerprinting:** Required for all New Mexico travelers (please ensure your agency is registered with the state)
- **Call Out Requirement:** Notify at least 2 hours prior to shift start
- **Patient Ratio:** 4:1
- **Scheduling:**
- Blocked scheduling is NOT approved
- 48-hour guarantees are NOT approved
- Max RTO: 1 per schedule; 6-week scheduling
- RTO blackout dates or required holidays: 1 Summer & 1 Winter (dependent on department needs)
**Expectations:**
- **Floating:** Required within the department
- **Scrub Color:** Any color (full uniform required, no t-shirts or hoodies)
- **EMR System:** MedHost (EDIS)
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the Emergency Room by applying the Nursing Process per state laws and hospital policies
- Utilize critical thinking and scientific judgment to plan and deliver safe patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the staff's education and experience
- Supervise assigned personnel in delivering patient care
- Perform thorough assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Administer medications and monitor side effects
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Adhere to safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
