Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
Active Maryland PTA license required to start the assignment.
BLS Certification from AHA or American Red Cross required.
Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
Demonstrated competency with therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, iontophoresis, TENS, hot/cold packs, and paraffin preferred.
Experience training patients in use of assistive devices (canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs) and gait training preferred.
Ability to implement treatment goals and interventions as established by the Physical Therapist and to document patient progress accurately.
Ability to adhere to safety, infection control, and equipment handling procedures.

Facility Type: Outpatient clinic.
