Minimum Qualifications Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Virginia PTA license required to start the assignment. BLS certification from AHA or ARC required or must obtain prior to start. Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting preferred. Experience treating orthopedic diagnoses, post-operative rehabilitation, and therapeutic exercise preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital (Outpatient clinic). Shift: Days. Shift hours: 08:00–17:00. Shift days: Days of week as scheduled (day shift).

The city is within 30 miles of Philpott Reservoir and 45 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway offering boating, fishing, and scenic drives. Danville sits along the Dan River and features the Riverwalk Trail and Danville Science Center within a short commute, supporting an active, suburban lifestyle with cultural and historic sites. The downtown historic district includes museums, theaters, and a variety of dining options within walking distance, providing an urban-meets-small-town environment. Transit options include local bus services and convenient driving access to Greensboro, NC (about 70 miles) and Lynchburg, VA (about 50 miles) for additional regional amenities.
