The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned business development professional with a strong background in clinical research. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and opportunities across our site network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within either a site network organization or a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth across the site network.
- Identify, engage, and manage key stakeholders within pharma, biotech, and CRO partners.
- Lead negotiations and contracting processes to secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, clinical, and leadership to ensure alignment on growth objectives.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events.
Requirements:
- Significant experience in business development within a site network or CRO environment.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, site operations, and sponsor needs.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Must be based in the UK.
