Job Title: Associate Director of Business Development – Fast-Growing Site Network

Location: Remote (UK-based)

Salary: Competitive + Performance-Based Incentives

About Us:

My client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding site network at the forefront of clinical research, committed to delivering excellence across multiple therapeutic areas. As they continue to grow, they are looking for an experienced and ambitious Associate Director of Business Development to join their leadership team and drive strategic growth initiatives.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned business development professional with a strong background in clinical research. You will play a pivotal role in identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships and opportunities across our site network. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record within either a site network organization or a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth across the site network.
Identify, engage, and manage key stakeholders within pharma, biotech, and CRO partners.
Lead negotiations and contracting processes to secure new business opportunities.
Collaborate closely with internal teams including operations, clinical, and leadership to ensure alignment on growth objectives.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
Represent the organization at industry conferences, meetings, and networking events.

Requirements:

Significant experience in business development within a site network or CRO environment.
Strong understanding of clinical trial processes, site operations, and sponsor needs.
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships.
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
Must be based in the UK.
