Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required)
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and participate in weekend/holiday rotations
- Compliance with healthcare onboarding requirements, including health screenings and competency testing
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and rapidly changing patient conditions
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized clinical environment
