ER RN Job Details
- Location: Clearfield, Pennsylvania 16830
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: January 19, 2026
- End Date: April 20, 2026
- Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department (12 beds, 10 rooms, approx. 60 visits/day)
- Nursing Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week), days (07:00-19:00) and nights (19:00-07:00)
- Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
- Weekend Coverage: Required
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Pennsylvania nursing jobs preferred
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Experience with Cerner charting system required
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Ability to provide clinical care for patients of all ages: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process promptly upon contract signing
- Lab work must be completed within 72 hours of signing contract
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
- Perform triage, patient assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, care for ventilated patients, and administer continuous IV sedation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Unit Secretary
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR system
- Participate in block scheduling and provide weekend coverage as required
