- Pay Rate: $72 per hour
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active RN license in Alabama or Compact State (Registered Nurse license)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)
Med/Surg RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
