Job Details:
• Work in ICU unit with floating required to PCU and other units within hospital or affiliate hospitals
• Must be able to handle higher patient ratios (3:1 days/nights, 3.5:1 weekends)
• Guaranteed hours: 8 and 10 hour shifts - 40 hours per week, 3x12 hour shifts - 36 hours per week, 4x12 hour shifts - 48 hours per week
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• 3 years of experience required (may consider less depending on experience)
• Travel experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must obtain Indiana license prior to start date
• Scrub color requirements: Red tops, black bottoms
• Use Cerner charting system

• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must have skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, 12 lead EKG/ECG, post cardiac surgery care, arterial line management, ventilator management, IV insulin protocols, continuous IV sedation and paralytics, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, chest tube care, hypothermia protocols, and wound care
• Care for patients with ARDS, COPD, STEMI, NSTEMI, DKA, AKI, UTI, and acute shock
• Work with adults only, average daily census of 7 patients in 12-bed unit
• 2 supervisor references required

This short-term acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services with multiple locations and varying bed capacities ranging from 153 to 210 staffed beds. The facility features advanced ICU capabilities with specialized equipment including ventilators, Arctic Sun hypothermia systems, and balloon pumps. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support through IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretaries, ensuring comprehensive patient care coordination.
