Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state (required at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
- Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- One professional reference required
ICU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a Med/Surg ICU
- Monitor and manage patients on drips, ventilators, BiPAP, and arterial or CVP monitoring
- Watch telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient status
- Care for both ICU and medical overflow non-ICU patients as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient care and clinical interventions
