- Call Requirement: Yes
- Floating: Yes (may float to sister campuses)
- Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Florida or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR nursing experience
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- Proficient in both scrub and circulate roles in the CVOR
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float to other units or campuses
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
CVOR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care for cardiovascular surgical patients
- Perform scrub and circulate duties in the operating room
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals
- Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Float to other units or sister campuses as needed
- Maintain a positive and professional culture within the surgical team
