Registered Nurse Job Details

- Assignment Type: Travel RN contract

- Duration: 8-week contract
- Shift: 10-hour day shifts, 4 shifts/week
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
- Setting: Operating Room (OR); may float to affiliated hospitals in Laconia and Franklin
OR RN Qualifications
- Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care operating room experience
- Current BLS certification (required)
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Up-to-date resume showing relevant travel nurse experience
- Two recent Charge/Manager RN references in the OR specialty
- Skills checklist for operating room nursing
- Valid driver’s license with matching application address
- NURSYS report with all active RN licenses
- Ability to float to affiliated hospitals in Laconia and Franklin as needed
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room
- Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile technique
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Accurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
- Float to other units or affiliated hospitals as required
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
