Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts on Surgical/Ortho Unit
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week (will not accept 36 hours)
• 8-week contract starting ASAP
• No blocked scheduling
• Every other weekend/holiday required unless given time off approval
• Float throughout Med Surg/Tele units and all in-patient areas
• May be assigned as aide if other units need assistance
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with 15-45 beds depending on unit assignment
• Required certifications: Kentucky/Compact RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• EKG test required for all RNs during compliance process
• Minimum 1 year RN experience in specialty required
• Must have Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Care View/EPIC charting experience preferred, will train on-site
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Black scrub colors required
• 75 mile radius rule applies
• Must be hard worker, resilient, manages change well, reliable team player

This healthcare facility is a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center providing comprehensive medical and surgical services to the region. The facility specializes in trauma care and offers a wide range of inpatient services across multiple units. The organization emphasizes teamwork and provides training support for electronic health record systems, maintaining high standards for patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
