Travel Nurse Job Details

- Shift: 4x10 hour day shifts (Tuesday – Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm)
- Hours per Week: 40

Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arkansas or compact state
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Operating Room RN, including Ortho, Plastics, and OB/GYN cases
- Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care in the operating room
- Prepare for and respond to patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Ensure surgical supplies and equipment are available and ready for use
- Maintain clear communication with patients' families and the surgical team
- Update physician preference cards and assist with scrubbing and circulating duties as needed
- Supervise and support personnel providing clinical support in the OR
- Comply with State Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and hospital policies and procedures
